In the name of God Amen the 16th day of July in the year of our Lord God a thousand five hundred fifty and six I Humphrey Rymell of Brailes in the County of Warwick husbandman being feeble and sick in body whole and perfect of mind and remembrance laud and praise be to you do make my Testament and last Will as here after follows first I commend my soul to Almighty God to our lady Saint Mary and to all the company of heaven and my body I will to be buried in the churchyard of Brailes Item I give to Richard Rymyll my son ---- 40/- Item I give to Agnes Rymyll my daughter ---- 40/- to be paid unto them within the space of 2 years next after my death and if it be true any of them to depart this world before the said 2 years then I will the longest lived of them to have the whole £4 all the rest or my goods unbequeathed my debts paid well and truly this my legacies fulfilled and my body honestly brought to the Church I give to Agnes my wife & Thomas my son whom I make my Executors witness hereof Robt. Wheler curate Richard Rymyll and Nicholas Rymyll with others.
