Thomas was a grocer and lived in Daventry. He had the misfortune to become bankrupt. Notices regarding the bankruptcy appear in the “London Gazette” from 21 November 1786 to 3 March 1795. (Issues 12806, 12952, 13000, 13001, 13035 and 13757) His brothers, John and Henry, are noted as acting for him.
